Introduce the group in to the topic, and emphasize how demonstrating is a citizen right. Discuss a topic the group has an opinion about.
Design and write to signs and banners, remember the scale of the toys/characters that will carry the signs. If needed, an adult can elp with the writing for children. Preferably the sign are written by children themselves.
Create the demonstration: place the characters in a suitable spot and add signs to them. Go through the texts together with the group, discuss and take photos.
Send the photos to relevant policymakers/authorities, invite media to the spot or continue with the topic in another format.
Variations
If the event takes place in a location with snow, snow characters are good demonstrators as they are bigger and can be placed outside for the passersby to see.
