Containers of emotions
Objectives:
- Get in touch with ones emotions. Compare and scale the emotions and emotional responses.
Preparation:
Tools needed: Papers and pens
Description
Ask participants to draw 5 or 7 circles or other shape "containers" on the paper.
Name 5 or 7 basic emotions slowly one by one (5=happiness, sadness, fear, anger, disgust, 7= add joy and anxiety).
Instruct participants to color the container according to how much each of these emotions they feel having now or in the last months. Is it 50%, almost full or just a little on the bottom of the container? Which things bring them this emotion
Reflection: go through the emotions and ask for participants' responses. They can share as much or little they feel like. A further discussion on the eco-emotions and their sources is a good next step.
