Description

Take out nine papers. Draw a grid of 9 squares (3x3) to each. Squares represent lotus blossom leaves.
Take the first paper and write number 9 in the middle and numbers 1-8 on the outer squares. iMAGE NEEDED (The numbers are only to clarify the process, there is no ranking or other meaning in them). The numbered grid is the first lotus blossom, initial brainstorming tool.

Decide who is the note keeper.

In the group, first come up with a problem/concept you want to brainstorm solutions/ideas to. After reaching consensus, write it in the square 9 in the middle. Start brainstorming and write each idea in to a square 1-8. Critical evaluation is not needed/allowed at this point!

After filling the grid, take out each of the 8 ideas numbered 1-8 and place each of them in to a new grid in the middle and iterate the brainstorming process 8 times. IMAGE NEEDED

In the end you have 64 solutions or ideas. The initial concept has been viewed on many different points of view. Continue the process in a suitable way.
