Fields of Additional Expertise
I’m a strong team player who enjoys working with others to find creative solutions to new challenges. I’m quick to connect with people and put effort into building a positive group dynamic where everyone feels included and valued.
I’m curious and open-minded, always looking forward to learn new things, whether it's a new topic, a different perspective, or a new way of doing something. I enjoy stepping into new situations, adapting, and contributing where I can.
Over time, I’ve learned how to stay grounded and flexible in group processes, and I try to bring a calm, encouraging presence to the teams I work with. I believe in collaboration, mutual support, and creating spaces where people feel safe to grow and take initiative.
Most Relevant Training Experience
During my time at DNS, I facilitated workshops for fellow students and helped design learning processes using non-formal methods. I spent six months teaching in a Colombian school, where I developed and led workshops for both students and teachers. I also worked for nine months as a teacher in an efterskole in Denmark, focusing on a more individualised education for teenagers with special needs.
Despite the many experiences I had, I am still considering myself a "junior" trainer, eager to work with more experienced colleagues to learn from them.
Relevant Educational Background
I studied at DNS: The Necessary Teacher Training College, which focuses on non-formal education and experiential learning. The program prepared me to facilitate learning in diverse groups using participatory and inclusive methods. It emphasized global issues, social justice, sustainability, and active citizenship, and gave me strong practical experience in teaching and facilitation.
In addition, I completed the Eco-ToT (Training of Trainers) that gave life to this eco-trainers pool. With it I deepened my understanding of eco-competences, future literacy, and gained experience with the GreenComp, the European sustainability competence framework.
Prior to that, I took part in the Capra Course, an program based on Fritjof Capra’s systems thinking and holistic approach to sustainability. The course provided me with a better understanding of the interconnectedness of ecological, social, and economic systems. It strengthened my ability to think in terms of relationships and patterns.
